Joy Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry to hear you have the dreaded arthritis too. You never realise how important your feet are until they refuse to work.

Nice entry and I hear you.
I too have arthritis in my feet, ankles mostly; although, except for when it flares up, usually I'm okay. I can only wear sneakers, and at home, special shoe-like slippers. The podiatrist prescribed insoles but I could never use them. Instead, softer gel-filled inserts work much better. And I would never go barefoot, even at home. I'm just not used to it.
I hope your arthritis is tamed and you feel no pain at all.
Yes, I do very much believe what we tell ourselves, in an internal convinced voice, to have a great effect on our feelings and behavior. So glad your friend is singing.
Joy Thanks for your comments. Yes, you’ve right about things changing with age. I never thought I’d find myself incapacitated. Weird isn’t it? I’m sure we all have had the sense that ‘old age won’t happen to me!’ It seems life had other plans.😂
Hope your recovery after your knee surgery is progressing well.
Nice entry.
Like you, I don't do clothes shopping anymore, and with the arthritis, I stopped walking outside, but I walk inside the house and around the yard. Things change greatly as we grow older and older.

Hats off to you! I don't think I could do what you did. On the other hand, having a lot of people fixing things while you are taking care of the kids and trying to keep them safe would have its own downers, too.
Anyhow, so glad you could and did do all that! That's some feat to be proud of.
Lyn's a Witchy Woman I wish you a speedy recovery from your knee replacements. I understand it’s a painful operation but worthwhile. I’ll be thinking of you on Monday. 😉🤞🍀☘️ Good luck, Lyn
I agree the cheetos aka the man who wants to be Hitler and Putin rolled into one, his ignorance will definitely have global impacts.
I've been getting as much as I can in order before my surgery on Monday, February 3rd. I'm having my right knee replaced followed my left shortly after. Writing didn't fit in for me either. Looking forward to seeing more of you in the months ahead.
Fun words on a Saturday: cooking, frying, silence, potato chips, restaurant, chef and salt. There's a connection to the date and these words, can you guess what?
I’m unsure of the connection with today’s date. Maybe it’s a special day in the USA which we in Australia don’t observe. Anyhow the words made me think of fish and chips and how hungry I am right now. I love saltypotato chips but they must be sprinkled liberally in vinegar.
I love to go to our famous seafood restaurant in Fremantle and to watch the cheffrying mounds of chips and then as he lifts golden pieces of battered fish out of the hot oil. The chatter at the table stops and silence reigns as every begins to eat.
However I hate the lingering smell the next day when I’ve been cooking fish and chips at home.
