A metaphor for my take on life and how it affects me. |

On Christmas Eve we'll be doing the prep work for Christmas Day, I know my wife already has plans for how the morning should go, and what items she will fixing so the hard work will be done. I will be straightening up the house Swiftering, and dusting, and making myself available to help whenever she needs me. We've already decided that I will be picking up lunch, we haven't decided on Chinese or fast food like Jack in the Box. Both are located in the same parking lot, that decision will be made closer to noon time. I'm sure it will fill the empty spot, and hopefully we won't have any left overs. Not much room in the refrigerator, but my wife has a way finding where things can go. That must be in a book somewhere on how to find room when it looks like there is no room available. I personally have never found a copy of that book. We found out today that our son has Christmas Day off so Ericka will be picking him up and they will both show up by mid morning, I would think a round 9am. Our other daughter and grand daughter are driving in from 29 Palms which is two and half hour drive. I believe they will have Christmas morning at their place before leaving to join us so I'm not sure they will arrive. It will be nice to sit down and have a family meal once again. They don't come around too often. We've been fortunate over the last few years we have gone on family vacations, so we do get together at other times besides Thanks Giving and Christmas. Family is important and it's wonderful that we can get together. I would like to wish anyone who stumbles onto this site a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and I Hope that 2025 is everything you want it to be. Remember Life is Good and God is Great |
