that you want to be a member and once she adds you to the group you will get the prompts daily in your mailbox. She is having surgery now, and will be back no earlier than Friday I think. In the meantime, you can just join. Go to the forum of BC "Blog City Prompt Forum"

[E] and look for the daily prompt. By Prinses Megan Rose. Then answer the prompt in your blog. That blog entry has an ID number. Go back to the forum and put your blog entry in the forum. Then you can read and comment on other entries if you like. That's how easy it is.

Thank You for reviewing my blog and I appreciate you including it Blogging Bliss Newsletter.
I can't tell by your reply where you are located? It would be nice not to see our temps go over 100 but that is a dream. We did spend a week in Carlsbad, Ca which is close to San Diego and it was 72 degrees daily and the evenings were in the 50's. I can only afford a short stay.
I did look into your blog to try and get an idea where you are from, and from what I read I'm guessing Japan. I was there in 1969 my ship was home-ported out of Yokosuka. I did some traveling when we were in port but to much. Young and dumb, so I didn't go to far, a group of us went to Tokyo for a day but that was about it.

Anyway a home is a never end battle of fix and repair kind of like the weeds in the yard their a never ending battle. We've been here 7 years and we had the house painted before we moved in. I don't see the need but happy wife happy life!

I will check out your blog another time and try and respond. Thanks for pointing to Blogging Bliss. I'm going to do my best to get a little more involved.

We (my wife insists) plan to paint the inside of the house soon. The outside needs it too. Been over eleven years. But first, they need to finish the bath and kitchen re-tiling. Original builder used the same tile everywhere, walls and floors. However the previous owner had put wood down on everything except bath and kitchen.

We don't get much humidity here either, but the temps don't usually even hit ninety. Trade winds offer nice cooling.

Our solar lines go through the attic. I've see places where they put it all outside. Looks terrible. Hope the painting and additional solar all go smoothly.

Glad you're back. I may have to do the same because it's been a while since I added anything to my blog. I remember reading yours when you lived way out. It seemed so beautiful and peaceful. I'm sure you miss it. That's where the back porch came from, right?

Hi. Just dropping in and read this blog area a little.

I had that trigger finger happen a few times, then It disappeared. I'm not sure what causes it what makes it go away, but it was painful and scary.

Well Don for me it is a great blessing that we do not know how long we have on the planet. The alternative would be far worse. I agree with you that our lives are a succession of paragraphs and soundbites.

Getting Use To Blogging Again

It's been awhile since I sat down and tried my hand at blogging. We've been staying busy with the Holidays approaching, and we had our daughter come stay with us for a week while she recuperated from having surgery. I'm glad she had a place to come and not have to worry about things while her body mended.

My wife put up Christmas decorations prior to my daughters surgery, so we've been enjoying the beauty of Christmas in our home for awhile I don't know that I've come around to the mood of the season, but I'm getting there. Bye the time Christmas Day gets here I should be a Jolly person, smiling and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

I've started writing again and hope one day soon to put out some new essays. I had lost the want or will to write and I've been trying to find the spark I need to get back into it. Someone told me "if you want to write, you have to show up and take a stab at it, otherwise your mind will tell you can't do it." I've been there before. Mind Over Matter!

It's easy to ignore those thoughts about wanting to write. I must take the time to do what I want to do! Easier said than done. I procrastinate a lot, and use any excuse to keep me from writing. Along with that comes self doubt, wondering if you're good enough to write, and who wants to read your dribble?

Do you have a towel to wipe my eyes? Sorry that was quite a sob story but sometimes you feel down, but there must be a silver lining somewhere.

That's enough for now!
