I admire you for your honesty and attitude on this subject. It's so true how the victims/survivors have been treated as the one's who have done the wrong and blamed unjustly.
Very few have had compassion towards the woman.
I was 19 , when it was over given the gun that was held on me. The police wanted to charge me for having it. They treated me like dirt and I left before the rape kit came. I went back to work and didn't talk about for decades except to my best friend.
Thanks for understanding...
"[...] over-protected children are more likely to struggle in relationships and
with challenges." This is what happened to me. My mom died when I was 8 and my dad was WAY over-protective and strict. I never experienced being independent. I know my dad loved me, but he never allowed me to fly. Perhaps that is why I love writing!
I'm glad I decided to read this! Thanks for sharing.
Very clever 😁! What really is a horse of another color anyway?! I enjoyed this post, it's unique and not the usual thing. Nice to see another take on expressing one's self.
Write ✍️ on indeed!
“Though He is everywhere and everything, still in His play He makes us believe that He is far from us.
Isn’t it wonderful?
Any karma or kriya we do brings a result, but it can never take us to Him. But if He attracts us, then He sweeps us along like the ocean and no one can alter this.
Just as it is the natural result of digging to find water at some stage, just as it is natural that there should be a spark if one goes on rubbing two sticks together, so it is natural that the regular practice of cultivating his ‘abhava’ (state of total emptiness) should take us to Him.
The joy we receive from this contact only emphasizes our awareness of the pain caused by our ultimate separateness and this will inspire us to make even greater efforts to unite completely with Him.
But the result of meditation is still not He as long as it remains within the realm of experience. Only when the experiencer is wholly dissolved in the experience is the supreme Truth revealed. “
