Oh Wow! I wasn't expecting you to put God as our business partner at the end. I was too busy getting mad at the man in the story who kept the 100%.
Great story plot, btw. You certainly zeroed in on the man's ingratitude effectively. I guess, we all experience a bit of that ingratitude at one time or another in our lives. A big Ooops!

I admire you for your honesty and attitude on this subject. It's so true how the victims/survivors have been treated as the one's who have done the wrong and blamed unjustly.
Very few have had compassion towards the woman.

I was 19 , when it was over given the gun that was held on me. The police wanted to charge me for having it. They treated me like dirt and I left before the rape kit came. I went back to work and didn't talk about for decades except to my best friend.

with challenges." This is what happened to me. My mom died when I was 8 and my dad was WAY over-protective and strict. I never experienced being independent. I know my dad loved me, but he never allowed me to fly. Perhaps that is why I love writing!

I'm glad I decided to read this!

A mystery

A monk came to a grocery shop while roaming, there were many small and big boxes in the shop, pointing to a box, the monk asked the shopkeeper, what is in it?

The shopkeeper said - there is salt in it!,

The monk asked again, What's in the second box of salt ?

The shopkeeper said, there is turmeric in it! Similarly, the monk went on asking and the shopkeeper kept telling, in the end the number of the box kept behind came, the monk asked what is in that last box?

The shopkeeper said, there is Ram-Ram in it! The sannyasi asked, what is the name of this Ram-Ram!
I've never heard of anything similar by this name.
The shopkeeper laughed and said - Mahatman ! And there are different things in the compartments, but this box is empty,
we do not call empty as empty and say Ram-Ram (lord, god) !
The monk's eyes were wide open. That monk fell at the feet of that small grocery shopkeeper,
Oh, so Ram (god) lives in the empty! Where is the place of Ram in the filled?

When the heart and mind are filled with greed, jealousy, malice, good or bad things,
how will God reside in it?
This is absolutely true, Ram (God) resides in an empty, pure and clean heart.
A small shop owner explained a big thing to the monk!
