"The gift of God to this enlightened age is the knowledge of the oneness of mankind and of the fundamental oneness of religion. War shall cease between nations, and by the will of God the Most Great Peace shall come; the world will be seen as a new world, and all men will live as brothers." The Bab "O my God! O my God! Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy great purpose. May they follow Thy commandments and abide in Thy law. Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee. O God! Leave them not to themselves, but guide their steps by the light of Thy knowledge, and cheer their hearts by Thy love. Verily, Thou art their Helper and their Lord." Bahá’u’lláh2 Footnotes |
Jamál (Beauty), 13 Jalál (Glory) 176 B.E. - Sunday, April 21, 2019 "This is a festival wherein all things have been adorned with the vesture of the names of God, and wherein His bounty hath compassed all things from first to last. All hail then to this, the Festival of the Lord, that hath shone above a dayspring of resplendent holiness!" Baha’u’llah3 On the First Day of Ridvan, the Blessed Beauty entered the Garden of Paradise and nightingales sing. One hundred fifty six years ago, Baha'u'llah entered a garden located on an island outside of Baghdad. This was a world changing event because while He was in this garden, which those who entered with him called Ridvan, Baha'u'llah declare that he was the one promised by the Bab and foretold in all the sacred scriptures. The time had come for the maturity and unity of humanity. The time had come for world peace, as announced in all the Holy Books. On the First Day of Ridvan the Best Beloved of the world entered the Garden of Paradise and roses bloomed. This is 2019 and, while it may not appear as if the world is any closer to World Peace, the process of the maturity of the human race is moving forward. The present condition of the planet is the fault of humanity and not God. Peace and unity is God's promise and God's will, therefor it cannot be stopped. The choice humanity has today is to assist the process or fight it, because humanity cannot stop it. Footnotes |
