Day 1949: David Burns say, “The reason fantasy is an old but thriving literary genre is because fantasy stories speak to emotional truths.” Do you agree? Myth and fantasy speak directly to our souls revealing humanity's strengths and weaknesses. Gratitude List For 12 Jalál Today I am thankful... ...that my Bank of America checking account isn't overdrawn today. ...for the breakfast pastries I have to go with my coffee. ...that Ridvan begins at sunset today. ...for the boiled eggs, cheese, and grapes I had for breakfast. ...for the peanut butter I had for my morning snack.
DAY 2344: "I decided it is better to scream. Silence is the real crime against humanity." ~ Nadezhda Mandelstam What do you think? Silence is the enemy of justice! When injustice prevails no human being is free or happy. Hate and injustice are partners, and degrade the species and the individual soul. Don't remain silent when confronted by injustice, but shout or scream when pointing out its presence. |
