| I'm really bummed I missed the chance to see Phil in Punxsutawney. But I've never been to Philadelphia, so that makes up for it! The first thing I did was head over to the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest and see what the pop up winter village was all about. Except for the bruised bum, I'm glad I chose to go there. By the way, I appreciate that Jayne and Fivesixer both tried not to laugh too loudly at my first attempt at ice skating. Although, I think one of them enjoyed seeing me shriek like a five year old as I let go of the rail and tried to do it on my own. It was certainly a new experience. As I warmed my hands by the fire pits near the chalet, the Delaware River looked magical. I had some amazing local craft beer and played some arcade games. It's been ages since I've been to an arcade! I lost track of time and nearly missed meeting everyone at City Tavern for dinner. After my adventures on the ice rink earlier in the day, I watched everyone skate at Rothman's. I have to say- even though my joints are swollen and I feel like I have frostbite on my bum, I had an amazing day. |

but seems to be okay today. I worry about my poor circulation, scrub my toes with a soft bristle brush, watch discoloration come and go. I probably need new arteries or veins but hey... "Heathcare" USA (enough said?). I may be better off trying something here in Thailand. But still... wish I lived in a country that had adequate patient based healthcare. Thailand and Taiwan mostly do, but I can't access it. First world systems like Europe, Canada and Australia do, but again, I can't access it.
