30 Day Blogging Challenge Prompt 6

I haven't given too much thought to cloning. My cousin is pursuing his doctorate in Animal Science and we've had some pretty interesting conversations about animal cloning to provide a healthier food source. I probably understand about half of what he says, but the way he explains it makes sense to me. I'm not too fond of the idea of mess with God's creations, but the fact is that it's already being done on many levels. (You know, besides animals.) Plus, the cloned livestock isn't actually used as the food source, it's used for reproduction. Then the offspring is used as a food source. So we're not eating the clone, or the offspring, just the product of the clone's offspring. Like milk that comes from a cow that has a clone for a parent. Still weird, but somehow more acceptable.

When it comes to issues about human tissue or organs, I honestly have never given it any thought. Maybe my ignorance is also my bliss.

Cheers.
