| 30 Day Blogging Challenge Prompt 13 ▼ The only Marvel comic I remember reading is The New Mutants and mainly because of Deadpool. He was a pretty kick ass villain. Most people have probably never heard of the comics I read. Clerks, Tank Girl, Preacher, Kill Your Boyfriend..weird stuff like that. I was seriously into the Riot Grrrl zines too. I wish I still had some of the zines my friend and I made, but we gave them all away. I bet my daughter would get a kick out of them. I really loved making them. We wrote all kind of crazy shit. Ah, I remember the feeling of seeing my words in print for the first time. Exhilarating. I was so carefree. I didn't think twice about anyone not liking what I wrote. We only printed 20 copies of the first issue, but damn they got around the school fast. So much in fact, that they kept getting confiscating, so we started doubling up. We didn't use our actual names, so I was pretty surprised when my English teacher pulled me aside on the last day of school to tell me that I had potential and was impressed. |

but seems to be okay today. I worry about my poor circulation, scrub my toes with a soft bristle brush, watch discoloration come and go. I probably need new arteries or veins but hey... "Heathcare" USA (enough said?). I may be better off trying something here in Thailand. But still... wish I lived in a country that had adequate patient based healthcare. Thailand and Taiwan mostly do, but I can't access it. First world systems like Europe, Canada and Australia do, but again, I can't access it.
