What do you want to bring more of into your life in 2019? Maybe love, joy, abundance, and what else? What in your life is no longer serving you and needs to be released? Could it be anger, stress, perfectionism, guilt?
I believe that my plans (which include my desires) for 2019 could best fit under the umbrella of the well-known bit of wisdom:
Let Go & Let God!!!
Each morning I wake up thinking about what I'd like to be doing wi... [Read more] I'm hanging Onto Christmas!!! December 26, 2018 at 11:57pm

"It is the sweet, simple things of life which are real after all." Laura Ingalls Wilder Do you agree with this?
Babies have at least two reactions to waking up.
Most of the time, babies seem to wake up happy and eager to begin the day.
I'll never forget that time when I got to keep my goddaughter, Michelle, for a whole week when she was three months old. She was always so eager to start the day and would pat my face and tweak my ... [Read more] Anticipation December 18, 2018 at 11:59pm

In figuring out--beforehand--what other people will do, how often do you get it right? Does your sixth sense or gut feeling help or does it confuse you?

The meaning of life for some people can be the privilege of existence or to feel one’s worth or to own a dog or a myriad of other things. What is the meaning of life for you or, if you don't want to talk about yourself, someone you know or a character you’ve created?
In a nutshell...
The meaning of life to me is that my life is a gift from God and something to be celebrated and used well.
There are a lot of little things I'd like to... [Read more] "Do or Do Not, There is no try." (You Don't Say...) December 13, 2018 at 11:55pm

"Do or Do Not, There is no try." Yoda-Star Wars Write your views on this.
Actually, I disagree with this because you can really try to do something; discover that you're unable to do it; and, then go off in another direction.
In other words, some things just aren't meant to be done no matter how hard you try.

“Execution is something, but timing is everything.” Todd Stocker
What does “timing” mean to you? What happens when your timing is off?
I'm actually going through this now and trying to catch up with everything. Sometimes, it wears me out.

Write a story or poem using this quote from Dylan as inspiration. Have fun!
“The crisp path through the field in this December snow, in the deep dark, where we trod the buried grass like ghosts on dry toast.”
― Dylan Thomas, Quite Early One Morning: Stories
Great description!!!
I hadn't thought of it until reading this, but the sound made by boots on snow does sound a bit like toast being scraped.
And what's a good reason to... [Read more] |
