The last time I uncorked a bottle, I drank 17 white Russians. On the way home, with my wife as a designated driver, we were pulled over for a taillight. The police officer was a lifelong friend so when he asked to breathalyze me without a promise that I would not be arrested, I let him do so. I blew a 0.459, which is almost fatal. He let me go due to his promise and our friendship, but told my wife to call him the moment I passed out. To spite him I drank coffee and ate to stay awake.
