"Prompt: Have you ever been mad or upset with God? Have you ever done something for which you feel God could not forgive you? Yes. I have been very angry with God when I did not understand His ways or purpose. In fact, I was so angry once that I stood in a thunderstorm cursing Him. That lasted until I was struck by lightning and knocked out. The odd part is that people get angry with God and then disrespect God by pretending they cannot reveal that anger to God. NEWSFLASH: God is all knowing. He knows you are angry! It is not a sin to be angry at God momentarily or to not understand something. Do you think Jesus was not angry in Gethsemane? He was very upset, angry, and scared! Anger is a n emotion that even God has. The trick is to be angry but not disrespect God. We disrespect Him when we try to hide our anger because we are lying to Him about how we feel. Read some of the Psalms and tell me David wasn't angry! In one Psalm he accuses God of being asleep at the wheel! He was livid yet He was a man after "God's own heart." I was cruising the galaxy with Jane Way and found this planet: becky48 writes
Write about birds in your Blog entry today. I always admired birds. they are free and come and go as they please. They have to be extremely wary though. They are hunting for food but at the same time they are being hunted. Other birds may swoop out of the sky and attack them or an animal on the ground might attack them. Not only do they hunt food but they are food! |
