A Journal to impart knowledge and facts
July 22, 2015

I'm going to start today to record on a daily basis whatever happens to strike my fancy. So, it is a very cool breezy day. I just posted 5 short book reviews to The Monthly Reading Challenge. I'm suppose to put away some winter wood today from the woodpile outside but I'm playing hookey from work to write so starting this blog will get done.

I'm having a daily fight with a flock of English Sparrows that are trying to take over my barn. They are making a terrible mess so they have to go. I have destroyed several nests so far they don't leave but they get out of the barn when I am around. I'm just starting the fight so I guess I don't know how far I have to go to discourage them.

I'm trying not to spread myself to thin on WDC because I find so many things that are interesting here and I am trying to work on a new story. I really enjoy sitting at my desk with a cup of tea and reading blogs on WDC.

If you haven’t had a chance to get your gear laundered, you may want to because we’re going to be doing some outdoor stuff for a while after this.
Discuss what part of the trip thus far you’ve enjoyed the most.
5 more countries to go in 12 days Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Columbia, and Ecuador Are you ready for some serious out door activities.

I think I'm ready for what comes next even if it is outdoors.

There is a rookery for penguins at Bluff Cove. The guide had a lot of information about breeding and nesting penguins. We also visited the Bluff cove Museum. A lot of artifacts of the war are a part of the museums here. Goodreads shows 84 books about Penguins for children. Doesn't everyone love Penguins?

One thing about the Falklands there is a lot of rough ground to cover to see anything.

Taking polo lessons was at the top of my list as when we visited Buenois Aires. Sitting the horse was O.K. but I sure had a lark trying to control that long mallet. It is really difficult to decide what was the best so far.

The tango show at La Ventana and learning the steps and culture of Tango Melonga was special. I'm also truly excited about the music museum at Asuncion. I'm looking for some of the sheet music for compositions by Agustern Barrios Mangore. Amazon has his music played by several different guitarist. If I can find some of his compositions I can play it myself.

And, not least has been our stay at Darwin House. It is Quiet here. Sandra Lyn, Blue Moon, and Carly had some interesting insights into the trip. I like the sharing because other adventurers see things I did not notice. I like the sight of sheep, cattle, and Penguins grazing together. It is homey.

Plus, my geography interest has been aroused by the different types of land, Sea, flora, fauna, and wildlife throughout the trip so far. The one thing I was cautious about, we really have not challenged ourselves with so far, is a trip into the jungle.

I'm rested up. Soon we will be traveling to the next destination.
