Every day on this site is unique. I am consistently finding something that makes me say, "what?" Hence, my favorite mantra has become: Help, my Newbie is showing!
That is interesting that only two out of ten were real. I have to wonder what site she is going to. I tried it a while back. Mostly what I found is that online and through phone conversations you only get a sense of their perceived selves instead of the real person. Everyone I met was real, or at least they were a human looking for another human to be with. Some were dishonest with their pictures by sharing old pictures.
As a child of <s>my</s> the age most of my dating experience was birthed online, never was scammed though....lots of socially awkward pervs though. Like anything you just have to work it to your standards.
How did you ever figure out how to move it? I'm still trying to learn how to use photos now in my "Picture Album" and before I can add any more there, I have to relearn how to post photos there; complicated for me.
I enjoyed what you wrote here. I would have been like you''ve characterized the girl: "No, Mama, No Dress for ME!" but as in all of our pictures during childhood I had to wear one of those darn 'shirttail' dresses and I hated long curls, but they were in all photos while I wore pigtails' all other days... OMGoodness, what mothers did, do, just for show. darnit. ann
