My first blog about my life, my favorite music, my opinions, my feelings. Whatever.

This is the first blog I've ever had! You'll have to bear with me because I'm still learning how to do this whole thing. I'll admit that it's bit of a mess right now. I started blogging for "The Soundtrack of Your Life" and I couldn't just let it end there! I don't think there's any point in keeping a separate blog for all of the blogging groups I want to join. I'm going to keep them all in this one so I can grow into an eclectic pot of confusion.

This right here, this the beginning of your blog, these entries, the email conversations, the IM conversations, all this Charlie, for all this you mattered to me from the beginning. I never read our conversations and thought of you as... blah, blah, blah, and went to sleep as if you never said a word. I went to sleep with the thoughts, rolling solutions in my head on how to show to another human being that he MATTERS to someone for the rest of the life in WdC, that you matter to someone. That you matter to me.

This right here is what made me look at the world with different eyes. Your first blog entries is what I remember about Charlie and how it made me felt. If you replied today to me saying you don't know what I'm talking about and seeing me crying for days, this is what I'm crying about for a whole year already. You called Noah at the end. I always wanted to call you since December of last year.

I really had to purse my lips to contain my laughter at this post...I didn't want to look too crazy doubling over from
Laughing and them being like we can't see you for this appointment! You're crazy!

I've totally done this so many times throwing off nasty people. I thought I was the only one doing random comments then touching them to get these people thrown off...

This is definitely a vignette not a story. It's just sort of... a slice of life with no real plot or character development or blah blah blah... those key elements for a story. Shows how much I use them, since I can't even remember what they are.

Anyway... love the bit about ashing on the floor. I knew these people... lots of them. The 2nd person works better than 1st person would have here. "You" reconnects it to the reader over and over in a somewhat creepy way (2nd person tend to creep me out in general if the story isn't fluff), while "I" would have just read like a narcissistic & boring sort of telling not showing.

Really?! What a coincidence!

We swore that something like that was such a freak incident, it had probably never happened before. I'm not sure if the people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time or if the tires are.

how freaky is it that the lawyer i worked for settled a case for a woman who was just standing at the bus stop and the next thing you know she is waking up in the hospital because a van's tire flew off and natural velocity carried it forward to where she was, hit the curb just right to give it the bounce needed to get to the level of her head. That woman was prone to tramatic head injuries. I don't know how she is still alive.
