I didn't have that problem with a parent, thank God. My oldest son was an alcoholic who refused help or to seek help.

Triggered my memory of having a Bank of Montreal account, ages ago.

I use a local bank where they know my face; but, identity theft goes far beyond that. One thing about WDC I like is that much of my writings are here which gives me a fighting chance to retrieve what I've written and a chance to prove that anything I've written is mine.

As for passwords... I can't remember them all. So, yeah, some are far too simple and others are written down. I use my WDC account daily. That helps.

. I actually like the song... and sometimes its good to get the blues out of you so that the sun can shine again.

Those two songs are my blues tunes.

After I listen to them it is often good to listen to something upbeat like Overcomer.

"I was just joking!" would be my pick too. I have some family members who deliver horrible insults then act like anyone who reacts without a hearty laugh has no sense of humor and / or is stupid. It's mean all around.

Yes, number 8 is senseless. It only shows how flimsy and empty the ideas or the talk of the person who says it. Mostly, I shrug such cliches off.

My mother had the misfortune of seeing an accident the other day. A fatality. A young man was speeding into a plaza, lost control of his vehicle and ran into the barrier in front of the LCBO - the liquor store. The investigation is still going on, but my mother thinks alcohol was involved.

My mother is a curious soul, but she is also emotionally weaker at times. Her curiosity got the better of her and she moved to look and see. What she saw was something that I am sure visited her nightmares for several nights.

This headline was a little close to home. I am relieved to know no one else was hurt during this accident. The young man was going fast enough to flip his vehicle and almost lose a tire. There could have been a lot more fatalities if people were walking out of the shops.
