MAY, SEPTEMBER, AND NOVEMBER 2013
JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND JUNE 2014
After 380 entries and over 17,600 views, it was time to retire "Who Do I Think I Am??" . Expect more of the same shenanigans and troublemaking you've come to know and love from me over the last few years. Tell all your friends, warn your family and hide this from your neighbors...this isn't your average blog.
Buahahaha! Yep, most of us have been there to some degree. If they say they haven't, they are most likely lying. Imagine being a waitress on a busy shift and this happening! Not good! Thank God for aprons.
and those who commit it are supposedy banished to Hell if you believe in that kind of thing, but in the end you're just dead.
Totally this, I mean, at the end of life we are all dead. By seen things, unseen things, are life will be ended eventually. I hate how people who hear about a famous person committing suicide and they are a great comedian and they go, "oh my, they are so funny! That just seems off..."
You know what? The funniest people have had the worst hell of living. That's how you create this side splitting, wonderful, awful humor where people piss themselves because of it. The demons are hidden by smiles and that laughter. Like I've heard people refer to someone and be like, "they were so normal, I didn't see any signs."
I guess I say all this to say... this subject hits me deeply. Also, glad that the one guy turned out just napping hardcore.
A happy memory...yikes! I've probably repressed most of 'em for one reason or another.
Thank goodness people never prompt me like this in real life because I'd start stammering and be like...
"Look at your hair, you did something to it? Right? A haircut? Tell me about how awesome you're loving that."
Distraction gets me anywhere and everywhere I don't want to be 99.9% of the time people don't know it's happening.
Why? They totally want to talk about their hair more than hearing my I can't find it happy memory.
Also, animal testing is just stupid but I do get science and this is one of those... "this being doesn't have our intelligence and ability to talk so we can use them for figuring out this shampoo that doesn't burn people's eyes and this dumb lipstick."
I think that music is some of the best art we can actually experience any time, any where, by touching and hitting 'play.' It sure has saved me more times than I can count from my own head and thoughts... if that makes sense.
'Crazy hot' just cracked me up, sorry. Talking about learning and shit I'm a big museum person because...
Science. Also, I learn a lot of my random facts by being that one person who reads all those tiny little things especially in nature/science museums. So many awesomely amazing things, and some museums contradict their information and I'll call over an expert and be like... uhhh, contradiction??
Here's an example, there is a dinosaur who is like a ostrich on crack. This bird was dubbed 'the terror bird' and supposedly was a carnivore. Turns out, it actually didn't do any of that shit, it was just classified wrong. So, I was like... hey this one place said this guy was a carnivore and you guys say the 'terror bird' is a big chicken.
And they're like, oh yeah, that place is wrong... of course.
Stress compromises our ability to give a shit about everyone else's problems. Don't matter what sex you or I are when complaining, and it definitely doesn't matter when we're on the receiving end of your bitching.
It's time for a SB Science Geek out moment. Stress is caused by our body being trapped in that wonderful evolution component when we were getting chased down by saber tooth tigers and shit. It is our 'fight or flight' response being kicked in, the parasympathetic system to be exact. It releases cortisol that destroys our muscles, causes us to retain belly fat, and is just an overall bitch hormone that when it keeps getting released we have major health problems in response.
All this geek out is to say, yes, when you're stressed the capability to give a shit about someone else is highly diminished because in our brain's cortex it is trying to help us survive something it can't even help us in. We can't run like we used so we're stuck releasing these toxic hormones over and over again. It causes you to get sick easier, and losers your bodies defense system.
Wow, geeking out shutting down cause I got more. Anyways, also was going to say Speakeasys are badass AF. I've been to quite a few from that old era and even one that Al Capone used to go to. So cool!
I'm totally that chick who works with a bunch of girls and never got invited to weddings.
Best.... thing... ever! No awkward moments, nothing, I've been to a total of two weddings in my entire lifetime.
But, I feel for you with this it's so weird, so much money, and especially if you don't even know the guy and met him once. I'm glad you guys could bond about your music though!
I feel like the whole point is to drink so much you don't remember it all... hopefully.
Where you wanna see a rainbow, I see the inconvenience. It's what I do and how I'm wired. Sure, there's good things in life...and I'm not immune to them. They just don't involve clouds. The rainbows in my clouds aren't rainbows in my clouds...I just don't know what all they are yet.
Ha, totally this above... *points up* Like I remember there literally being a circular rainbow in a cloud and I was just like...
What the fuck?! And I'm more like this damn rain messing with this sun is just not right.
8) A pocket full of nothin' disguised as a Fuck You.
9) Their brains, especially after I said "Fuck You!".
10) Ugh...no, all day, ugh. Yes, so much yes on so many levels.
Also, I thought maybe you might be as into scars as I am and... this answers it. I find it fascinating how we hide them and I tend to display mine whenever my legs are exposed.
Loved the highlighted part and also the description of kissing. I always found kissing much more intimate than anything else.
It's the way that I could get unlocked into losing myself so... it's horribly scary as well, if that makes sense.
