I know exactly how you feel. I've battled depression all my life, and found out I had ADD on top of that. Now I take Adderall and Zoloft in small prescribed doses, and over the past few years, my writing has stopped as well. How do we balance the meds, the depression, and the creativity? It's a tricky business, indeed. I just started to get back to reading and writing, because it makes me happy. I also realized I still Love to draw and paint. A few recent reviews here at WDC helped remind me why I Love writing stories so much. To have a positive effect on people, and help them Feel something.
I hope this helps you. Listen to favorite music, watch uplifting movies, do little things to ease your stress. Your creativity is still there, waiting for you to make a move. We can do it. I know we can. (((HUGS)))
Final count for the day? 3900. Not as much as I used to be able to do in a day but about 3 times what I'd like to do and 30 times what I've been able to do in the past few months. I think I'm keeping sprints as a way to jump start my fingers.

I love that cover. It's amazing. She complained about putting the back cover words over that lightening but she was also the one who picked it, lol. I'll tell her you love it!
Deb, I got it on and older Kindle, and the one thing I miss is the cover art. I need to upgrade to something fancier! But I can tell from the post that your daughter is getting better and better with her art. It is gorgeous, from the characters to the flash of lightning in the background. :D
I just finished the chapter. I thought it did a good job exploring Walt and the issues he's taking on and the role he's trying to grow into. My only quibble has been how to get Serena into the main plot. I can't comment on the love scene. I'm no judge of quality or the genre's expectations: when I've wrote one I've rarely planned it out beforehand. Never worried where to place the scene or how many to have, just let it happen whenever it happens, let the situation dictate it.
P.S., regarding that project I was aiming to finish by November: didn't make it, but still trying.
