This is indeed something I can relate to. My favorite Holiday is Halloween. When asked why? I usually tell people it's because that's when everyone is "real."

This is really a heart-felt observation and with spiritual principles included here as well. You are aware of the cockiness that people exhibit which really tells the whole world their life is unmanageable. Your poem is well balanced in the thought process and the feelings as well as hope for your friend. One of my favorite words is courage. I love it. I enjoyed reading your piece.

I wish I had an angel, someone to lean on, I guess you can say... but don't think I understood belief in angels et cetera... I guess I am just glad that even in creativity someone can understand what we go through--even if its just a creative fictional level.
I know how surgery can take a lot out of a person. And being taken off medication can mess with a person. My advice ~ take it easy. We all know you are a great writer and understand the circumstances So once again take it easy rest uo and come back strong

I had my candy ready, and until after 8:30 I had no customers. Usually the kids start coming around 3PM. But then after 8:30 they came in several large groups of twenty or more kids. By the end of it, I worried I'd run out of candy. Just made it.
