I challenged myself to 250 words a day, we'll see how that turns out. . .
This will be a journal/blog about what I'm doing every day while I'm unemployed and how I got to this point in life.  I'm writing it at the Kitchen table write now because my desk is full of Christmas tree stuff, but that could change as we may want to eat here at some point.  I've been told I have some ability as a writer and I like to write, but I've never made the time.  I've also never taken the time to really examine my life because it makes me uncomfortable--even though I'm a counselor and I ask people questions that force them to examine their lives all of the time.  I thought a challenge of at least 250 words a day was a good way to see if I had any talent and to do some self-examination.
