My aspirations, triumphs, and failures. Life is a beautiful mess!

Very deep and honest reflection that I found myself relating to, especially when it comes to that fast forward button. It serves to remind me that I need to be in the moment, living and feeling and making memories at every turn. Perhaps, more time to reflect like this also helps create a feeling of completion/satisfaction.
I am reminded that we should be moved to tears and laugh each day to live life more fully. I fail in this regard most days but am thankful to be reminded that we all struggle to get more out of life and that I'm not alone.
Blogging also helps keep me on the path to fulfillment. And hopefully other writers and readers can lend more reflection along the way.
Aww, thank you, TT! I don't know despite some of the other rubbage that derived from those years, I can still read back on that story and "Break Me" and say THOSE were pretty darn good! Not sure what happened there!
I'm so glad you ventured over here with me into the great unknown. I will forever be grateful to Quayin/Marce for having the link on her site. I just wish I knew who she was here!
I look forward to sharing each and every step along the way with you next year and all the years to come. Best of luck to you twinnie! You deserve it!
Ohhh that time is coming, isn't it? Wow. 5 years. Where does the time go? I still remember your excitement when you found the website. I could barely wait to get home so you could show me! Oh the days of sharing a den, sitting back to back creating our ... ummm ... masterpieces??? *worried* Yeah, maybe not .. but oh how far we've come since! It's been a fabulous 5 years and we've come so far. 2011 was the year of the novel. We did it. We each finished a novel. Now comes the next step. I look forward to seeing where 2012 takes us.
I have Kindle for PC on my desktop, and once I got my smartphone I could easily sync phone and computer. So all my e-books are right there on my phone, when I get stuck in traffic or long waits at the doc's or dentist's office, or while I'm stirring a pot of long-cook pudding for dessert. I still prefer a real book, but I live in a community with a library like yours -- slim pickin's.
Oh, and sometimes I just don't want to tire my hand holding the binding open when I'm reading in bed. Sometimes, an e-reader is just plain better!
I've held off getting any type of e-book. The expense... as opposed to freebies at our library. I do understand the lure; lots of interesting stuff I'd like to read. Plus, very handy for trips. Still... one more thing to break or lose...
Aww.. it's nice to see a daughter appreciating all those things that mothers are about. And it's great that she's part of your life, and yours in hers.
Nice.
Ah out in nature is one of the best things on earth. I'd rather do that than sit in a theatre and watch movies. Don't get me wrong. I love movies but too much of one thing is boring. I never get bored of nature.
I think it's touching that you wanted PB& J sandwiches because it reminds you of days gone by.
Oh and Happy Birthday too. I hope it's a safe and funfilled day. Well unless you prefer it not to be. LOL *Kidding
