Thank you so much for this most unexpected gesture. I'm thrilled that you had fun at our seasonal event and I look forward to seeing you at the next one in January!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and again, thank you so much.
Congratulations, my friend. I made Preferred about the time you joined ... and I went through ALL the same thoughts as you, I think. It is nice to be recognized. Keep up the great work.
I too enjoy O. Henry--always loved the twist. Recently, our local community theater group performed a live version of Gift of the Magi. A little trivia for you (and a bit of hope for all of use who miss the little errors in our stories. The opening lines for Gift of the Magi are:
One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And sixty cents of it was in pennies.
Notice anything? How about of the eighty-seven cents, only sixty cents of it was in pennies. Would have to be sixty-two to make one dollar and eighty-seven cents correct.
That's always been an endearing part of that story for me. Nice tribute to a great man.
Congratulations on all your goals. Exactly what I hope to do (I joined that group too).
I remember when I started using the Review Tool--I wondered the same thing: why didn't I do that sooner. Now, I have at least eight separate templates for the various groups that I review for. Definitely makes life easier.
