Some people do insult others in a nice way but the sarcastic tone is there. Sad really. At my job, I would blow the person a kiss and say right back at you. I felt better. Maggie Smith. I loved her on Downton Abbey. She was a Dame. She was perfect on Downton Abbey. The scenes in Harry Potter looked interesting. She was a good actress. I loved her in The Battle Of Britain. She was a private person in real life. I feel maybe she was like Violet. Stern but loving and carried herself well. She could be everyone's best friend. I enjoyed her quotes and sense of humor. Maggie Smith and Violet. I loved you both. I wish I had met her in real life. She had the neatest lines. I watched Downton Abbey episodes last night and will watch some this week. When I was a kid and Dad was in the Air Force, we moved around a lot. Traveling the highway to a new place. They were long trips. Eighteen years of school. You come to the end of the road. You go down another road. After college, you work and get married . Another Road. Roads can lead to any place. The roads wind and you face a lot of turns. Forks in the road. The roads get bumpy. This is life. You go on a journey in life and it isn't a smooth road. You do your best and I think of The Beatles song. You go out with someone and break up and sometimes it leads you back to each other. Travel the long and Winding Road. Do the best you can in life. The road can lead to good things and happiness.  |
| Prompt:Do you watch Reality Shows like Survivor? Write about this in your Blog entry today. I love Survivor. I adore Jeff Probst. I like the islands they choose. I like the brown and yellow bats. I don't like bats but these are pretty. I think the ocean is beautiful. The games they play are interesting. I wonder who designs these games. The way the players two face each other and vote a person out. Some are friends with each other. A fight for survival. You have to win food and supplies to fish and make fire. Sleep in tents you make and get rained on. I love watching the show but wouldn't want to be a contestant. I enjoy the theme song. This is why I like Survivor. I don't care for the other Reality shows. I like comedy and fiction. I got hooked on Survivor and watch it every year. I like seeing who gets voted off and I pick my favorites as well. Jeff is a great host. I won't miss it.  |
| I have been here 22 years and a lot of members have inspired me and mentors. I have to chose three. Here goes. ♥HOOves♥   We met my first week here. I loved her novel Sara's Port. I enjoyed reading her poems and the pictures of her basset hound Boo. She and I exchanged emails and became friends. I admire her. We do Campfires together and she is part of my groups and we have been there for each other. I appreciate her suggestions with my writing and she is a hero to me. Did I mention she has a Degree in Literature? She is a mentor to me and she is spiritual like me.Sunny  She inspires me. She loves cute images and uses them in all her items. She writes cute poems and items and she is spiritual like me. She cheers me on in my writing and groups. She is a good writer and I learn from her. We have been friends since my first month here. She makes me laugh. She sent me the book of poems she had published and they lifted me up and I learned from them. Angel. She is a black case. She does all my artwork I use for my stories. She designed my book covers for my novels. She wrote cute stories. She inspired me and helped me with suggestions for writing. She and I became friends my first week here. We are family. Bobby Sherman from Here Come The Brides is her second cousin. Anyway, I wish I could do artwork. Angel gave me suggestions for my writing. She quit writing but still does artwork and she has a graphic art Degree. These are my mentors. They are my sisters and friends and women I admire as well as good writers. |
