| Prompt: Write about your Christmas. It was foggy today. Mom didn't text me last night and didn't return my calls this morning. I was worried about her. My cousin lives around the corner from Mom. I text her and she said she would check on Mom. Mom called. She was alright. I almost called 911. I bought Mom over for Christmas. We had a good turkey dinner and Dairy Queen Cake. I gave Mom a Santa Claus dressed in beige and a pink flowered tea set. I gave her some money. Ray, my husband got a blue flannel shirt and Mom gave him money. I got a pearl necklace, Wizard Of Oz Book, an original from my cousin. I got a ballerina cat necklace. I had already got a Estee Laudee Red Velvet Case full of makeup, pearl necklace, Cinderella and Snow White Dolls. I had got 2 Kate Spade purses and Nutcracker necklace. My Birthday is four days before Christmas. I get extra. My cat was in the way when I made dinner and I had to politely remind her to get out of the way. I did give her some turkey. We didn't have a white Christmas. We had mist then rain. I have enjoyed watching Christmas movies. I do love Christmas. I have listened to Christmas music the past 6 weeks. I hope everyone had a good Christmas.  |

Memories of seeing JFK in person. Astronauts Grissom and Young. Being rescued by the Skipper of Gilligans Island in Arizona when I left Mom's side. He took me back to Mom. I have no memory of that. Meeting Loretta Lynn in person. Touching a piece of Gene Simmons guitar he broke on stage. Having General McArthurs private physician for a neighbor. Knowing country singer of Bobby Harden of The Harden Trio. Memories of Christmas with my parents and grandparents. My wedding. Birth of my son. Getting my first kitty cat. Memories of my parents pets and grandparents cats I loved. Lake Michigan trips. Trips to Michigan. Happy times with friends, my son and his wife. High School memories of be at the Prom, plays, the beauty pageants I was in and being a High School Reporter. High School dances. Friends. Memories of my life at a Catholic College. All the good times and fun things in my life. I wish I had my beautiful memories wrapped in tissue paper in boxes and they wouldn't get broken like Christmas ornaments. Memories. In this song, the man's girlfriend has broken up with him.He says he feels like a drunken Elvis. He feels he will have a bad Christmas. Christmas can be depressing for people. My house burned down before Christmas 24 years ago and it was sad. My husband and I got through it. We did get our cat out. We rebuild but I don't wish this on anyone. This song. The man feels down. I have never liked Christmas songs about a broken up romance. Christmas is about Jesus, Santa and his reindeer and all the happy things about Christmas. This song mentions Christmas Lights. Christmas lights are nice and pretty. I enjoy watching The Christmas Light fights.It is nice watching the White House light their tree. I like turning the lights on, on my tree. Bonners Christmas Store in Frankenmuth, Michigan is so nice. I love buying Christmas decorations there. When the store closes at night, they turn the lights on their display. There is polar bear, penguins, Santa and his reindeer and sleigh. Santa in a play, Nativity Scene and everything is lit up and these are the most beautiful Christmas Lights ever. I feel for the man in the song but I will take happy Christmas songs. I wish everyone was happy at Christmas. I can't say I like this song. I will listen to cheery songs for a thousand, Alex. |
