I remember hearing about the couple who owned Macy's I think. They were in their 60s I believe and she wouldn't leave without him and he wouldn't leave. So sad.

Yup, the Garden of Eden didn't end well, but only because our kind fell under the spell and/or advice of the wrong one.
Like you, I love roses, too, and a lot. When we had a much larger property, once upon a time, I had a rose garden in it. Once, on one rose bush, I grafted five different kinds of roses and they all bloomed for a season or two, but later on, the too-harsh winters of the North did away with that bush. At least, I have the memory of it, now.

It is very difficult when a loved one passes on. I think you are doing a good job of handling this by allowing yourself time to heal.

Megan. Even though you'll always remember your mother, you'll adjust to living with this grief, eventually.

Titanic Loves

Titanic loves. My mother died recently and my cousin found a book Titanic Love Stories. It is a book I bought years ago and had given to Mom.

This book has real Stories of couples in love like Jack and Rose. Some were rich couples and others were steerage and some were like Jack and Rose. Some went down with the Titanic. I cried over some of these stories. Titanic is my favorite movie ever. It is sad when romances end due to death. The Titanic
Ice berg killed several people including lovers.

This book has copies of tickets of these romantic tickets, pictures of real passengers and is like a scrapbook of Titanic. Pictures of the Titanic and this is like a history book of the Titanic. This is a romance book as well. I can't wait to read these stories again. There are treasures everywhere and I am finding some in Mom's house. I find tears and comfort in Mom's belongings. Mom loved the movie Titanic and this book. I want to watch Titanic again. I will enjoying reading this book as well.
