This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy. |

I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out. I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone. I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it. Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario. If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be." |
| I apologize because I am off one day. due to computer problems. Today's snow storm is on the correct time.   Last year my husband had to have emergency surgery. In his abdomen was a place that was about to become septic. Three hours after he went into the operating room, he came out . His surgeon was pleased and mentioned that she took out his appendix for no charge. I'm sure that made his day. He woke up slowly and asked the nurse if he had. been shanghaied and drafted into the British navy. (That was an old joke he liked to tell people,) The weather was not going to be one that a driver would hope for. But on the fourth day, when the doctor reported that he was well enough to go home, the meteorologists reported that there would be snow, sleet, and hail occurring simultaneously. Now I am from Texas and we have never had that kind or combination of weather. My hope was asking our daughter-in-law if she could help. She was born and raised in Michigan where kids rode their bikes to school in that kind of weather. Or so she says. We got all of Stan's things and headed down stairs to the check out room. Stan was in the wheelchair feeling as nervous as ever. Now Oklahoma is famous for hills and deep ditches. I would have had a stroke and heart attack if I tried to drive. But our driver, the wonderful Dana had no problem. We saw drivers speeding around us. Some people went through red lights. The snow and hail beat on the windshield . And we made it home with two Hail Marys and two Our Father prayers. But the yard was solid white, and we put Stan in bed with a sigh of relief. I'm sorry that I got off the main subject. This is the only storm that is worth mentioning. |
| 2025 Goal I gained some weight Because I always cleaned my plate I love to eat And the cookies are sweet And I looked one day In the mirror who had to say If you eat much more You won’t get through that door So I guess my goal Is to leave the dinner roll And let the sweets Go to little brother Pete. I’ll walk around the block And our dog might have a shock ‘ Cause I’ll end up nice and lean And become the weight losing queen Plus I’ll get rid of old ugly clothes |
