Wow, that's my fave, too! And I lived just outside of Philadelphia when I was in college! I really miss that city. It's a great place! (I live about 2 hours NW of it, so I guess it makes sense!)
As a parent, I have to say that there are times I'd prefer the bickering to another, "But why?!" question! That being said, manners are a forgotten art in many parts and magnified by 1000-fold in the airport. People don't want to wait so they arrive at the last moment possible and expect others to cater to them because they are running late. Morons.
I hear you on the student loan debt! Even worse is that I actually enjoy working for a small business that allows me to have a life, but doesn't pay as much as I could make in a larger organization. I fully expect to be paying off my loans for years to come unless I manage to talk myself into taking a higher paying corporate job...
