After a tragedy Holly feels insecure.She meets a neighbor who helps her focus on goals.
Everyone envied the Bricker family. Their lives seemed so perfect looking from the outside in. But when tragety strikes the small close-knit family, their daughter, Holly becomes withdrawn. The small-town girl suddenly realizes that she don't know where she fits in, what she is meant to do with her life, and where to go from here. She becomes determind not to let anyone see her vulnerable and insecure. Suspicious of the past, and unsure of the present,she is forced to talk to somebody, anybody who will listen. The only one that seems to understand her ways is an older rebellious neighbor.This hurts her relationships with many various people, but it also helps her deal with many issues she did not know she had. When their talks start to bloom into romance Holly doesn't know what to do. Will she break down the "walls," will she let somebody in? Who can she trust? Will this allow her to finally become secure again?
