Salvation, My Gift

Stay with me oh Lord, remove my sins,
You’ve stayed with me through thick and thin.

You have brought me from the fire,
And made me have faith in something higher.

My faith is in you, deep and secure,
You have cleansed me and made me pure.

You've held me tight and led me through the night,
You’ve shown me how to do all things right.

Pull me through this life my Lord,
Remove from my heart this sharp sword.

You are my shadow, each step I take, you’re with me,
When I breathe I feel you envelop me with oxygen so free.

I hear you in the breezy wind and the crackling fire,
I smell you through the honeysuckle and roses I desire.

I see you bursting through the dense fog of an early Spring morning,.
Everything I do is because of you, for you, I’m laboring.

You are my master, my king, my Savior who blessed me,
Thank you, dear Lord, for life so free.
