Quote: Doubt is a great worm in a crispy, red apple. by Sally Gardner {link:https://www.quotemaster.org/red+apple}
I didn't know there was such a thing as Eat A Red Apple Day. The apples I have presently, are Mackintosh. They have red even in the apple flesh closest to the skins. Apples are cholesterol free, fat free, and a good source of fiber.
I got up at 6:30 A.M. to replenish the corn stove. Snow everywhere outside. But warm inside. I ate half an apple as a snack. I shared my apple with the parrots. They are always happy for fruit snacks. Leaving breakfast until later in the morning.
The snow is heavy, easily packed. It’s good for snow angels, snow men, skiing, sledging, snow ball fights. Everything is just covered. All the brown trees are now covered with a blanket of white. Snow is still falling so even the air is white.
I’ve been outside to fill bird feeders. Now the winter birds are covering the bird feeder.
Apples keep well and make pies in the winter. They are a good source of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which is important to keep the human system running smoothly. Have a good day. Keep warm.
