A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
The Next Three Days Today I’m heading back to work. That used to mean that I was going to continue working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But that’s not what it means now. At least not for the next three days. That’s because I’m at my old post now during the week. And I don’t have time to do too much writing there. Especially, during the first four hours. I might be able to do it during the last four. But last week I didn’t even try to do that. I shouldn’t be working in that post because of my health. The only reason I am is that a female wanted to work at my normal post all week. And that shouldn’t have happened. But it did. I have seniority there. In fact, I’m the oldest one to be there. And I’m not writing about my age. Even though, that is probably true too. I’m writing about how long I have been working there. The only other one that I know of that has been there longer having been the Site Security Supervisor where we work. So, why is the one who has only worked there for a few months get my normal post? It’s because she wanted it. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it right now. I need this job. And if I complain about it that will be their excuse to fire me. Oh, I would still sue them. But I still would be out of a job. So, I have no choice but to stay there. But they aren’t going to like the way I run that post, though. I will do my job. And it takes top priority. But that doesn’t mean I have to be quick about doing it. As for my writing, I am going to start taking my writing supplies with me during the week. Not because of the paper holder that I use to watch tv and movies on my cell phone or the paper clips I need for the paperwork that I must do there. It’s because I’m going to try to do some writing. It may not be more than a few single paragraphs in the last four hours of my shift each day. But like I wrote in my blog entry yesterday, even a little bit of writing is better than no writing at all.
