A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Very, Very Good for a Wednesday At first, I didn’t think that I was going to get fifteen single paragraphs written for the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After all, I only got five of them written in the first half of my shift. But I really started to sour during my second half. I figured I would be lucky if I got another five written to make ten today. I didn’t get ten written yesterday at work. No, I got a total of fifteen of them done by doing ten in the second half of my shift. Don’t ask me how I did it. Because I don’t know. All I know is that once I started writing I couldn’t stop. The only thing that did stop me was work. And that didn’t slow me down that much. Speaking of work, it was a very normal Wednesday yesterday. It was very busy most of the day. Not quite as busy as it has been on a Wednesday lately. But it was a close second. True, it was the busiest during the first four hours. In fact, it was very, very busy during that time frame. But the second half was also very busy. With fifteen single paragraphs of the Scene Outline for this episode, I only have five more to write before I end Act One. That means that I will get started in Act Two today. I don’t know how many of them I will get done. But it should be at least twelve. That will be ten scene paragraphs and two Establishing Shot paragraphs. I’m hoping that I will get about five more of them written today at work. And I might be able to do that. Especially, if it’s as busy at work today as it was yesterday. If it’s like it has been on a Thursday lately, I may be lucky if I get the twelve done. Whether I get close to fifteen or not, I’m going to get as much writing as I can today.
