Single Paragraphs

That’s fifteen single scene paragraphs and two Establishing Shots single paragraphs that I got written yesterday for the first episode Scene Outline of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That is a lot of writing that I got written at work yesterday. Especially, considering that I did it on a Friday and that it was a normal Friday at work yesterday.

Don’t ask me how I got seventeen single paragraphs written yesterday at work because I don’t know. Maybe because I got caught up in the last two weeks of Young and the Restless that I watch on my cell phone. Then again, maybe it was something else. Whatever the reason, as soon as I started writing them, I couldn’t stop until I finished them.

Of course, I did have work that stopped me from writing. But it didn’t slow me down that much even though it was very, very busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest days that I have had in a very long time. And that’s writing a whole lot considering how busy it has been lately. It may have been even the busiest one that I have ever had so far.

Seventeen single paragraphs may not read like a lot. But it does to me. Especially, since they were done on a weekday. If it would have been on the weekend, then it may not have been quite so good. After all, the weekends aren’t that busy at work. So, I normally have plenty of time to work on this project. I just hope that I can do as well today.

Not only did I finish my Teaser Act for this project. but I also got five more scene paragraphs from Act One. I also got two Establishing Shot paragraphs written too. That only leaves me thirty more scenes to write to end Act One. Will I get that many done today? That’s very doubtful. But I may be able to get fifteen of them written.

Fifteen reads like a lot of paragraphs to write. But today is Saturday. So, I have a very good chance I can get that many written. If I can’t get a few more. Then again, I might be lucky if I can get ten written if it’s anything like the last few Saturdays. I hope that I can do at least fifteen. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens.
