Gloomy Sunday
Warning: Listen at your own risk.

I don't really enjoy listening to this all that much. I do find the story interesting.

The Wikipedia article says that the link between this song and suicide is an urban legend arising from the already high suicide rate in Hungary during the 1930s. The lyrics do mention suicidal thoughts. It seems to me that the song more than likely did not cause anyone to commit suicide. The lyrics and the mournful music played in a minor key are intensely sad. I believe that the song probably really was attractive to depressed suicidal people. I think that there probably was a connection with some suicide deaths. The song certainly would not help to pull anyone out of a depression.
