Knowledge is considered divine and practical application is necessary to life. Therefore, people need to have an excellent understanding of the person of God. Understanding who God is and what God stands for brings us into an understanding of what the Fear of God means. What God is For and what God is against helps us grow as we accept God as the ultimate leader.

True understanding has to relate not only to times before by hundreds and thousands of years, but also to the time in which we reside.

Psalm 119 which are meditations relating to God’s law extends knowledge of God.

Proverbs 15:33 Which says the fear of the Lord is the instruction of Wisdom.

Matthew 13 relates to us how God in the person of Jesus the Christ thinks of the difference in personalities of people.

Even Wikipedia has a page about the Fear of God.
