Just an image Here is the prompt for Saturday

Proverbs 1:13-14

13. We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:

14. Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse.

What does this mean to you?

Taken in context, this scripture means that there can indeed be great material reward in sin but it comes with a deep cost of being displeasing to God. There is nothing on earth worth going to hell for.

Write about the universe and the stars.

it's odd that you would bring this up because in my next class at Regent University, which starts Monday, I am going to be studying about the different theologies behind the origins of life and the stars. I always thought science had it all wrong and that there was no way man evolved. Now I am learning from theologians how it is possible that man did evolve and that God guided the evolutionary process. Science can marry religion if science would quit allowing the die-hard atheists to control it. Even some atheists say there are parts of the evolution process that only miracles can work out. Anyway, the stars truly are billions of years old from what I am learning by reading ahead.

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: What is your favorite part of October that has nothing to do with Halloween?"

Long answer short: the weather. It is not too hot and not too cold in my part of the world. October is perfect. Another benefit for October is that Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice Frappuccinos. That's a definite plus, though my favorite is mocha frappuccino or java chip.

Blog City image small Prompt: "Use these words in your blog entry... purple, pumpkin, determine, clock, scarecrow and Shelia."

Sheila made the best purple pumpkin pie I ever ate. We never determined how much food coloring she mistakenly used. When the clock said "Dinner Time" we ate it and nobody complained except the scarecrow who did without..
