The most scariest time.
Oct. 16: Write about a scary moment from your life.

OMG there have been so many scary moments in my life.
The one I class as the scariest would be when I was eighteen. I had come home from a date and everyone else in the house was fast asleep. At the time I was living with my two older brothers and my parents. I’m not sure of the time but sometime during the night we had a break in. The man (burglar) was In my room sitting on my bed. He placed his hand over my mouth and asked how old I was. Presumably to ascertain if I was underage for sex?
I told him I was eighteen. He said “ if I let go of your mouth, promise not to scream.” I nodded. When he let go I screamed as if my life depended on it. (It probably did!)
My eldest brother and my dad both came to my rescue but as the perp had switched power off at the mains they were in the dark. They both tussled with each other until my mother had the foresight to turn the lights back on. The man had long gone. Police called, but of course but no one was ever caught. That was pretty scary.
