Shakespearean Sonnet: "We Will Stay True"
With days of awfulness and sin abroad,
we find the light is draining from the sky.
The only hope we have is placed in God,
our confidence of Hope, Who will not lie.

"My house and I are stayed upon the Lord.
His service we will fully render, yet.
" (Joshua 24:15f, KJV)
Our days of life are based upon His Word.
He cares for us, though tougher they may get.

In human strength, I have no cause to stand
for we will fail each other and ourselves,
but lately bids our Lord to trust His Plan.
He seeks our hearts and there within He delves.

The ones, He calls, are never out of reach.
The trials of life are His great tools to teach.
