Prompt: I landed on this planet today.
It must be its inaccessibility that has kept it so unspoiled. Long may it remain that way. Use this line in your Blog entry today. I hope it stays unspoiled for ages to come. I lived up in a hollow in West Virginia. For years it was nothing but unspoiled country. My family and I did not touch it and left most of it's natural beauty. My grandfather owned it. Then when he died he willed it to my uncles. They did not live there and did not appreciate it the way we did. The sold it to another man who then sold it again. The next owner allowed oil companies to drill there. They tore the land up so badly that I did not know the place! I have never gone back there. "The prompt for today is taken from the Faith Connections Leader's Guide. It asks "Although written thousands of years ago, why is God's word just as relevant now as it was when it was written?" God's word is just as relevant today as it was when it was written. It will be relevant for eternity, not just until the end of time. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8. His word never changes and is always applicable. Some of the interpretations may be applied slightly differently but the word never changes. In 30 Day we're doing a virtual blogging trip hopping from continent to continent. We just left Lesotho up in the mountains where at one time cannibalism was practiced. wondered what seasoning they would use for our bodies if they did seasonings The prompt is for you to decide what seasoning would suit you personally the best? Just think of it as an unusual meal preparation. I usually don't participate in these gory things. I guess if someone cooked me after I died, the best seasoning would be salt and meat tenderizer. I'm a tough old bird. |
