I wish my muse would return; Oh, I want to write something…" How about you? Do you want to write something? If so, have at it." I love acrostic poetry and acrostic poetry that moves my heart is even better. Rhoswen - Relentless Victory has written an acrostic about the struggles of writer's block. This is a problem I deal with all the time. I go through extended periods in which I write nothing. I write my blog during those times but nothing requiring a lot of imagination. I understand what the author here is going through and empathize on a deep level. I know she has struggled with a lot over the past several years and am proud to know her as a person. Prompt: "Which Bible version do you use? Are you a "strictly KJV believers or do you think all versions are alright?" I believe there are some translation errors in any version of the Bible except the original Hebrew/Greek/Aramaic Bible. I know some KJV users think it is blasphemy to say such a thing about the KJV, but it too is a translation. It is also not the first English translation and it depends a lot on former English translations. I want to learn to fluently read Hebrew and Greek but I doubt that will happen in this lifetime. In eternity though I will be an expert. Prompt: “We search for happiness everywhere, but we are like Tolstoy's fabled beggar who spent his life sitting on a pot of gold, under him the whole time. Your treasure--your perfection--is within you already. But to claim it, you must leave the buy commotion of the mind and abandon the desires of the ego and enter into the silence of the heart.”― Elizabeth Gilbert What are your thoughts?" I think I agree that happiness is an inside job. The insides must be holy though. They must be surrendered to Jesus Christ who then gives contentment. We may not be happy but through faith we have serenity. "Prompt: When do you feel rushed?" All the time. |
