"Prompt: What will life be like 5 years from now?"
I'm not even certain from a Christian eschatological standpoint that the world will even be here in five years. If it is, I can assure you that it is going to be different. I would guess that masks will be a common thing as I do not foresee COVID-19 going away for some time. Perhaps we have learned some new hygiene from it. I will have my Master of Divinity degree within that five year period and probably be working on my doctorate degree.
Prompt: "July is hot afternoons and sultry nights and mornings when its joy just to be alive. July is a picnic and a red canoe and a sunburned neck and a softball game and ice tinkling in a tall glass. July is a blind date with summer." Hal Borland
What is July to you?
July is all of the above to me but you left out ice cream and watermelon and fresh tomatoes, and other garden products.
"Prompt “We may be totally unaware that many of the challenges in our lives are not our issues. They are our parents’ issues,” says Shirley Rose in her book, Integration: Heal past Trauma and Prevent Future Trauma.
Which kinds of issues in one’s life can be their parents’ issues? Do you ever find yourself thinking, this isn’t me but my parent?"
Every time I look in the mirror I see a reflection of my dad staring back. I'm sure I have many behavioral traits from him as well.
