4157 21 Awake for a moment

I just woke up for no reason and have this blinking message. What do you think life will be like in stardate 4162?

I don't know! Guinan might but she won't tell you. Don't bother asking...

Time and space is fluid. We may have many missions. We may be planet bound. A star might go nova and the waves may take us past the edge of this galaxy.

I don't speculate. I don't care.

But here's a note I wrote from years ago:

I predict:

I will have enough food to be fat.
I will get good grades and become a captain of my own ship.
I will stop the wars in Zeta Epsilon.
I will go on a long vacation there.
I will be happy.

Ah ... to be a child again!

None of this came to pass except the happy part; although, it's better to say I'm content to be useful. I don't envy the captain. At least I get to have a life!

And right now that means I get to go back to sleep. I need to wake up tomorrow for a scheduled check.
