Prompt: Stardate 4157.2 Day 2 We are in the second star system of our journey. This one is the home of our own Second-in-Command Lt. Commander Bubblegum Jones ! The planet is
The prompt is: "Great stories are written by great people, and we each hold the power within us of writing a story." Analyze and report. Have fun! I believe what Bubblegum Jones is saying here is that all of us have the ability to write if we just decide to do so so. Some of us may not find is as rewarding as others, but if we can communicate at all we should be able to write, at least on a functional level. Creativity is a human trait. It is hard-wired into our personalities and into our natures to create and to communicate. Storytelling may seem difficult but we do it all the time. If we make a report to a boss we are telling a story. If we communicate some memory to somebody we are telling a story. I agree with Number Two. We each hold the power within us to tell a story. "Prompt: Use these words in your post: delight, sky, and pasta." What a delight to be eating pasta while cruising through the sky. Of course, I say that tongue in cheek because anybody who has ever eaten the meals served on an airplane knows they leave a lot to be desired. I have never really traveled extensively by airplane but I have been subjected to one or two of these so-called meals and I thought they were hideous. "Prompt: “Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn’t a rose at all.” Crystal Woods About roses or people, do you agree?" I agree. People and plants are not meant to last forever. I also agree that people aren't meant to be emotionless automatons. We eventually are going to have a bad day. When we do we break down. As Woods says it we wilt. It happens to everybody. Prompt: "Transportation: Write about taking your favorite (or least-favorite) form of transportation." I love flying. I was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for a long time and I was a member of the flight crew. I flew either in the right seat as what we called an "Observer" or in the rear seat as a "scanner". The Observer watches out the right side of the aircraft for the target and monitors and operates the radio equipment. The scanner sits in the rear seat and "scans" the ground using a certain pattern to find the target. The target may be a missing aircraft. |
