A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Just Finished Verifying My Spreadsheet I’m ready to start working on my single sentences for my Water Wars scriptwriting project for both my Outlines and my Treatments. It took me all day at work to figure out my scene and character order. And it turns out it’s about the same as my last one. There are a few slight changes in it. But overall, it’s still the same. I tried about a million different combinations to make it work. And a few of them weren’t too bad. But in the end, I tried to adjust my original combinations and it worked. Of course, there are a few that are repeated. It’s not too bad, though. I would rather it be no repetition. But there isn’t any way around that. My best was to keep it as low as possible. And I have done that. The only thing that I didn’t get done at work was verifying that they were each equal in about the same amounts of scenes per character. Of course, I already knew that they would be equal total-wise. But I also wanted to make sure that they were fairly equal in what I call the three parts. Part one is for ones, threes, sixes, and eights. And part two is for twos, fours, sevens, and nines. The last part is for the fives and tens. I know that reads confusing. It is even for me. And I’m the one writing it. But it’s the best way that I can think of to explain how I organize my character scenes. Today at work I’m going to start working on my single sentences for my Outlines and my Treatments. I will start with my Outlines because they are the easiest to do. Then I will start working on my Treatments after that. I doubt that I will get to the Treatments today. After all, I’ve got the movie Outline to do and the first four episodes. I’ll be lucky if I can finish all five Outlines today.
