A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Don’t have a Lot to Write About Today So Far Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten too much writing done on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death, so far today. But I have gotten a little bit written. Including the most important parts. It’s the ones I have been having trouble with. It didn’t take me too long to do it either. I thought about it before I went to sleep last night. And I had them figured out. The biggest shock about what I figured out was that it was not that much different than the way I had it before. I just needed to change it a little bit. Especially, in the first scene. The fourth scene stayed almost the same. I hardly had to change that one at all. But it did need changing too. The first one only needed to be changed in how I wanted it to be shown. And the fourth one only needed a few words changing. I also had to work out the way that I was writing them. That is because I wanted to personalize it too much. Using ‘we’ and ‘us’ in Establishing Shots is okay. Things like ‘As we get closer to Gorthim.’ But I don’t think they should be used in the scene paragraphs because the scene paragraphs and scripts are for showing the story. Does that make sense? It’s a little bit confusing to me too. And I’m the one trying to explain it. Will I continue working on this Treatment after I write and post this blog entry. That is what I plan on doing. As for if I do it, that may or may not happen. I want to continue working on it. But quite often something comes up that stops me from doing it or it stops me from doing as much as I want to get done. I don’t think that will be a problem today. It could be, though. After all, something is always coming up that I didn’t expect to come up. I should know one way or another when I write my next blog entry.
