On Strange Hypotheticals
PROMPT May 20th
If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you choose?

Well this is an interesting prompt; it should have an easy answer but if you take a few seconds to think on it, you find it doesn’t. To the creator of said prompt, I applaud you. Oh, and here’s a cookie because cookies are brilliant: 🍪

I suppose if I lived to be ninety years old, then I would choose to have the body of a thirty year old and the mind of my aged self. With age, there is supposedly wisdom so if my mind wasn’t gone, then I would be pretty good.

But if my mind was shot, then I would want neither. Someone who has reached their ninth decade does not have long left to live, maybe 10 years if they’re lucky, but if not, then I see no point. With my head being useless then there would be no point of a fitter body, because I would be limited to the capabilities within my mind, and that’s only if I can function.

So yeah that’s what’d I would do if God granted us that option. ¡Adíos! 🍪
