A Lot of Death Today

Today has been a very good day for my writing. At least I think that it has been. I haven’t gotten a lot written on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. But I have gotten quite a bit done. I’m not finished with the Outline for this movie yet. I am close to finishing it.

I have finished Act Seven. That means I only have Act Eight and Tag Act Two to finish. I’m hoping that I can do that tomorrow. And if I can, then I can start working on the Treatment for it. I don’t know how long that’s going to take. But if it’s anything like the Outline, it will be a couple of months to do. And that’s if I’m lucky.

True, I hope that it doesn’t take me that long to write it. And maybe it won’t. After all, I know what I want to write in each scene. But I’m not sure how I’m going to write it. I don’t think that I will have as much trouble that I have had with my first project, Water Wars. That’s because I’m doing this on my laptop instead of by hand.

It may be harder than I think, though. True, I know what the scenes are about. But that doesn’t mean that I will know how to write what I want to write. Especially, if I want to show instead of telling. I have had a lot of trouble doing that with my Water Wars project. In fact, there is a lot more telling than showing in it. But that won’t be true when it comes to the scripts.

Like I wrote above, I’m going to try to get my Outline done tomorrow on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. But I don’t know if I can do that or not. I should be able to do it. Especially, if my brother and I don’t have too much that needs to be done tomorrow. As far as I know, there isn’t too much to do. But I could be wrong about that. After all, I have thought the same thing numerous of times. And I was wrong about it. By the time I write my next blog entry, I should know if I finished this Outline or not.
