Tues. April 28th Prompt
Have you learned anything or acquired any habits during this quarantine/lockdown that you plan on keeping with you and/or practicing once it is lifted?

Yes, I actually do have some new skills from this. I’ve started to cook now, and I’d say it’s going okay. I now know how to make scrambled eggs, hamburger helper (don’t judge, I’m a newbie at cooking), tacos, and delicious cookie bars. It’s not much, but I’m happy with it. When I go back to my grandparents, I plan on making tacos for them because one, my grandmother doesn’t know how and two, she could relax while someone else cooked.

I’ve also started walking and excersising more. This one feels like a huge accomplishment for me because I used to start doing it but never kept with it. It’s been a week now though and look at me; I’ve walked over 14 miles in total! I’m also stretching more, which is great because that something I really really need to do. It is also something I’ve struggled with doing so I’m grateful I finally have the will to keep doing it. Which makes me need to thank this wonderful group: "Destination: Goal ZoneOpen in new Window.
It gave me the initiative to start trying, and I’m very grateful for it, and God.

My life has changed quite a bit since this time last year. But hey, that’s a post for another day...*Smile*
