How has your idea of lockdown/quarantine changed since the beginning of this month?

I contemplate my present mental state,
and the way I now get around town.

Has the stress and anxiety passed?
I knew it wouldn't last,
just as I knew the quarantine
would eventually be lifted.

The COVID-19 pandemic
has made me more aware
of the interconnection
between human populations,
and between the nations.

When a virus
born in one part of the world
can cause death in another section of the planet,
the Earth is truly a single country.
